Bucket O' Blood Books
Bucket O' Books & Records has been open since 2010 and specializes in new and used genre fiction, with a particular emphasis on horror, science fiction, and fantasy. In addition, they carry new and used vinyl records, graphic novels, and DVDs/Blu-rays. They are one of our local bookstore partners.
Haymarket
A radical, independent, non-profit book publisher that published books that contribute to the struggles for social and economic justice.
Open Books
Open Books works directly with tens of thousands of students through community events, book grant programs, and literacy partnerships. Open Books is one of Liberation Library's local bookstore partners.
Pilsen Community Books
Pilsen Community Books is a worker-owned and operated radical bookstore in the heart of Chicago's beloved Pilsen neighborhood. PCB specializes in literary fiction, used and antiquarian books, and books on social justice, but has a large selection of books in a variety of topics. They host radical programming and literary events year round. Pilsen Community Books is one of Liberation Library's local bookstore partners.

Seminary Co-Op Bookstores
The Seminary Co-op Bookstores, Inc. comprises two independent bookstores, The Seminary Co-op Bookstore and 57th St. Books. Founded in 1961 and 1983 respectively, the stores are located in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood and cater to the literary interests of the greater South Side community. Both stores are unique and valued places of discovery, cultural institutions where browsing and conversation are nurtured. In 2019, the Seminary Co-op Bookstores, Inc. became the country’s first not-for-profit bookstores whose mission is bookselling.
Women & Children First Bookstore
Women & Children First believes in the transformative power of literature. As intersectional trans-inclusive feminists, they believe books are tools for liberation. Since 1979, they have celebrated and amplified underrepresented voices. Women & Children First is one of Liberation Library's local bookstore partners.

Free Write Free Write Arts & Literacy engages incarcerated and court-involved youth in the performing, visual, and literary arts so that they become the narrators of their own stories and the authors of their futures John Howard Association JHA independently monitors correctional facilities, policies and practices, and advances reforms needed to achieve a fair, humane and effective criminal justice system in Illinois. IGrow IGrow has hosted Lib Lib for collaborative packing days at their Peace House in Englewood where we pack books for our readers across Illinois as well as friends of the IGrow community. Cabrini Green Legal Aid CGLA's vision is to proactively fill the void of legal representation, wraparound services and advocacy for people affected by the criminal justice system. Chicago Books to Women in Prison A group that distributes paperback books to people incarcerated in women's prisons nationwide. Black and Pink A family of LGBTQ prisoners and "free world" allies who support each other.
